Hair Stylist Positions

Our Hair Stylists and Salon Assistants are strong communicators, self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative and present themselves in a way that\ showcases their personality and style. Our stylists understand and value the importance of on-going education and uphold our culture throughout their career journey. Our Stylists are armed with the foundational skills needed to continually build a consistent client business where they are ready for anyone that sits in their chair. We not only provide our Stylists with specialized education on the craft of hairdressing but we also give them the business strategies that are necessary to establish themselves as true professionals. We want to ensure they have the tools and the knowledge needed to deliver the most thorough consultations, recommend the most appropriate home care routine, as well as having the confidence to ask for referrals, document their work and manage self-promotion through social media.

Union Salon’s Client Services Team is at the forefront of our operations making the first and last connection with our guests, as well as hosting an incredible salon experience at all points in between. If you are a self-starter who strives to find a way to make “it” work, is overly detail oriented and you thrive working in a fast paced team environment, then you have found the right place. You’ll develop razor sharp guest experience tools, learn our customizable service menu and product lines with the goal of creating memorable and delightful guest experiences. Our Client Services Team are highly valued members of our salon family. We look to our Client Services Team to grow into lead or management roles as they become available.

                                             Salon Director/Stylist Lead Positions

Our Salon Director and Stylist Lead positions direct and manage day-to day salon operations to deliver and exceed sales goals, business objectives, and overall profitability. They are not just managers, but team players and leaders who are passionate about guest service, communication, and developing their team. They excel in areas such as performance management, recruitment, training, scheduling, and critical business functions including cash reconciliation, banking, payroll, and incentives. Stylist Mentors play a key part in training new stylists in our salon family culture, provide product and color education along with customized support throughout the first year of employment and beyond. Our leaders enjoy opportunities for career growth with advanced training on current trends and management best practices.
